"Still to Come" Stretched Canvas Print

Every art collector needs their quintessential pear painting—and this is mine. Painted in oil on canvas, Pear is more than a study in form and color; it’s a deeply personal marker of time in my own life.

The sliced fruit holds a quiet symbolism: one seed still nestled in the belly of the pear, the other seed pod empty. It represents the chapter after my daughter was born, but before my son arrived—a moment suspended between two great loves.

I’m especially drawn to the way the green fruit softly blushes its reflection across the tabletop, a gentle wash of color grounding the composition. It’s a classic subject reimagined with personal meaning—ready to be that timeless, must-have pear painting in any collection.

Ready-to-Hang Canvas
