Mushrooms oozing, what could it be? Perhaps a sign of mystery, Or maybe something deep inside, That makes them ooze and not subside.

It could be rain that's made them wet, Or heat that they cannot forget, Or maybe something they've ingested, A toxin that has been digested.

Or maybe it's just how they are, A part of nature, near or far, Their oozing nature, unique and strange, A characteristic that will not change.

So let them ooze, and let them be, These mushrooms of mystery, For in their ooze, there may be found, A secret that's waiting to astound.
