Pilates Girlie

Created for Alona Orofino and her bespoke Pilates and Wellness studio in Downtown Fredericksburg, Pilates Girlie is my love letter to the way Pilates makes me feel—strong, capable, confident, and unapologetically prioritizing myself.

The figure came together like a collage of inspiration: reference photography by Roberta Sant’Anna, my daughter modeling for me, and Alona herself. The result is a woman who could be anywhere, doing anything—running a business, raising small humans, taking on the world—but at 5:45, you know exactly where she is. (Sorry, I can’t go, I have Pilates! has become my personal mantra since beginning my own practice at Orofino Wellness.)

She is the embodiment of body confidence, wellness, and capability—ready for everything life throws her way, grounded by the practice that keeps her strong in body and mind. The original artwork is pyrography and oil paint on panel, blending grace and grit in every detail.
